Joseph Bluhm lives and works in New York, NY. From a small town
in Pennsylvania, Joe attended the Cleveland Institute of Art from
1999-2002 as an illustration major. From there, he moved to
Orlando, FL to draw at the premier theme parks and corporate
events in the United States, doing live caricature.
The next 4 years were spent traveling the world creating live art
for thousands of customers and artists. Joe has drawn live in over
20 locations across the globe, including Ohio, California, Florida,
Texas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Tokyo.
Joe now does character design as well as illustration and
caricature/portrait art, both live and in the studio. Joe has won
dozens of awards in caricature and several illustration honors,
including a two-time AAN Cover artist of the year. Joe is both
former VP of the NCN and former editor/AD of the NCN's
"Exaggerated Features" quarterly newsletter magazine.
